Cat Pack vocalist in TV scoop!

The eagle-eyed Cat Pack fans amonst you may have noticed a familiar face amidst the recent murder mystery on the UK’s no.1 soap, ‘Coronation Street’ - yes, they sent in none other than our very own Lisa George (under her actress hat) to help solve the plot as family liason officer, WPC Stonall! If only she could solve the mystery of the bands rapidly vanishing stage shirts too! Yes, the band are very proud to reveal the true identity of one of Corrie’s recent ‘Sherlock’s’ and it follows other recent appearences in ‘Holby City’ and a repeat of the award-winning, ‘The Illustrated Mum’ starring Michelle Collins. Next up are the K.F.C. commercials for the ‘Ant & Dec Show’ in April 2005 - interval Fillet Burgers for the Pack all round then at the next gigs…

ROMAN MAREK - Vocals

Roman MarekRoman joined the Pack in April 2004 during the same period as Lisa George and Katie Ashby. He has gone on to fulfil the ‘crooner’ role in the band as his own with a panache, warmth and refreshingly modern slant on the classic style - as reflected in reaching the final 25 of ITV’s, ‘X-Factor’. Roman began his career as an actor performing in Channel 5’s, ‘Family Affairs’, ‘The Real Monty’ UK theatre tour, ‘Song and Dance Man’ and ‘Dame Lucy Bun & Reg’ among numerous theatre productions. After performing with various function and corporate bands, Roman is now fulfilling a life-long goal singing where his heart and soul lies, recreating the magic of Frank, Dean and Sammy with a swingin’ big band. One of the nicest, loveliest, coolest cats you’re ever likely to meet prowling the streets!

KATIE ASHBY - Vocals

Katie AshbyThe delightful swing songstress, Katie joined the band as one of our featured vocalists in April 2004. She has now become production designer for ‘Strictly Swing’, one of the Pack’s brand new themed shows in conjuction with partner and fellow vocalist, Roman Marek. Her dazzling stage prescence has rapidly made her one of the most exciting features of the band’s show and she can only be described as the biggest ‘little ball of energy’ you may possibly find! Katie’s credits include ‘Mixed Feelings’ and ‘Souled Out’ showbands; vocals and dancer for Thomson Cruise Lines, ‘Spectacular on Ice’ and ‘All That Jazz’; choreographer for ‘Bus Stop’ and Alton Towers productions & actress for ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’, ‘The Wizard of Oz’ and ‘Dick Whittington’ at various UK theatres.
